- Baby Red Radish – 1 cup chopped
- Garlic – 1 clove chopped
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Red Chilli Flakes – 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder – 1/8 teaspoon
- Curry Leaves – 4 or 5
Heat some oil, add the cumin seeds, when it starts sizzling, add the garlic and sauté till it turns golden. Then add the curry leaves, followed by the radish, turmeric powder, chili flakes and salt. Reduce the heat, cover and cook for not more than 5 mins. Serve it warm.
Do not overcook it; the vegetable should retain its crunch.
You can also add some lima beans along with the radish.
